Grief & Bereavement Studies at a glance …

Full time or part time - September through August

ONLINE - In-class + practicum

Admission requirements: There are no specific prerequisites that need to be taken prior to applying.

$550 per course + ancillary fees

Application deadline: March 1

 
Practicum

As part of the program, students will be required to complete the practicum course in Thanatology offered through King's University College.

Current students of the Certificate program in Grief and Bereavement Studies may enroll in the practicum course on permission of the King's College Thanatology Coordinator, Darcy Harris.

Thanatology 3360a/b - Practicum in Thanatology

Students will be exposed to various care providers in the community that work with individuals and families facing death and experiencing grief after a loss. Focus will be on integration of theoretical knowledge with clinical application. Students with a clinical focus and background will be given priority.
