CTMG 6001 Introduction to Clinical Trials and Research
provides an introduction to the clinical trials process, study design, protocol development and clinical trials for specific diseases and devices. This is a foundational course for all others in the program, and covers a broad spectrum of topics.

CTMG 6002 Drug Development
provides an overview of the drug development process which includes the historical background of the laws that govern the drug approval process, the pre-clinical and clinical activities required for drug approval, the regulatory requirements for each phase of development, and the interpretation of safety and efficacy data. In addition, the regulation and clinical development of medical devices will be presented.
