The Diploma in Clinical Trials Management consists of 9 courses and 2 placements.

Note: Prospective students who are currently not enrolled in the Diploma in Clinical Trials Management are eligible to enroll in take up to two 'sample' courses prior to applying to the program.

CTMG 6001 Introduction to Clinical Trials and Research
provides an introduction to the clinical trials process, study design, protocol development and clinical trials for specific diseases and devices. This is a foundational course for all others in the program, and covers a broad spectrum of topics. (Offered every September)

CTMG 6002 Drug Development
provides an overview of the drug development process which includes the historical background of the laws that govern the drug approval process, the pre-clinical and clinical activities required for drug approval, the regulatory requirements for each phase of development, and the interpretation of safety and efficacy data. In addition, the regulation and clinical development of medical devices will be presented.(Offered every September)

CTMG 6003 Organization and Monitoring of Clinical Trials I
provide a broad introduction to the clinical trial process, with specific emphasis on Phase II – IV clinical trials. Key areas to be covered will be the role of the investigative site, the role of the sponsor, critical job functions along the delivery chain, and the pairing of the roles and responsibilities required for the planning and successful execution of a trial.(Offered every September)
