ACCT 6001 Canadian Personal Taxation
Prerequisites: MOS 3360a/b and MOS 3361a/b or BUS 4417 or equivalent
This course examines federal income tax law related to the income of individuals from employment, business and property.
ACCT 6002 Auditing
Prerequisites: MOS 3360a/b and MOS 3361a/b or BUS 4417 or equivalent
This course examines audit concepts, objectives, standards and practices. Audit theory, timing, nature and extent of audit testing and audit procedures are covered in detail.
ACCT 6003 Advanced Accounting
Prerequisites: MOS 3360a/b and MOS 3361a/b or BUS 4417 or equivalent
This course examines special and contemporary topics in advanced accounting.
ACCT 6004 Canadian Corporate Taxation
Prerequisites: ACCT 6001 or BUS 4479 or equivalent
This course examines the federal income tax law related to small and large corporations and their shareholders.
ACCT 6005 Advanced Auditing
Prerequisites: ACCT 6002 or BUS 4497 or equivalent
This course examines current and/or advanced topics related to the auditing profession.
ACCT 6006 Computer Auditing and Control
Prerequisites: ACCT 6002 or BUS 4497 or equivalent
This course examines audit and control procedures in a computerized environment.
