We understand the unique needs of adults and design all of our courses and programs with those needs in mind. Designing innovative, unique and exciting programs and choosing exceptional instructors who understand adult learning are the most important things we do; this is what sets us apart as a leader in continuing education.

Post-degree Diploma Programs

Post-degree diploma programs are designed primarily for recent university graduates or individuals with little or no work experience in their desired field . These programs are typically one full year in length and link career-specific skills with the more theoretical knowledge obtained in undergraduate studies. In most cases, these programs include work-site placements that provide students with an opportunity to gain real world experience in their chosen career.

Please note that there is an application process for these programs; students must be admitted to both The University of Western Ontario, as well as to the diploma program itself.

Certificates
Certificate programs are designed for practitioners who have at least two years experience in the field in question or a related area. These programs can be completed on a part-time basis over three years and help practitioners improve their career-related knowledge and skills and attain a recognized university credential.

Please note that there is an application process for these programs, however interested individuals may take up to two certificate-credit courses prior to applying for formal admission. After students have completed two courses, they are required to apply and be admitted to both The University of Western Ontario, as well as to the certificate program itself.
