	Carolyn Young Director Drawing on her experiences in adult education, Carolyn is a true believer in the value of lifelong learning. By developing strategic partnerships at the University and in the community, Carolyn’s mandate is to ensure Continuing Studies at Western provides rewarding and innovative programs for adults seeking career growth, professional development and personal enrichment. In alignment with Western’s strategic plan and global trends in education, her priorities are to expand online learning and support programs to grow the international student population.
	Alison Adair Marketing and Communication Ali would be the 'creative' one. Responsible for the development of proactive and effective communications and the promotion of the Continuing Studies' brand identity and public image.
	Karen De Heus Program Support Supervisor Karen is your primary contact for all of your instructional needs such as course materials (outlines, weekly materials such as powerpoints), textbooks, grades, photocopying, WebCT and teaching contracts. In addition, Karen also oversees the customer service/front office operations at Continuing Studies.
	Margaret Dow Information Specialist Margaret is the smiling face behind our front desk. She takes care of all our customer questions, classroom set up and instructor classroom support. Margaret also provides support to Karen so you may hear from her from time to time for things such as grades or course materials.
	Aimee Froude Program Assistant Aimee assists in the Post-degree program area, including: application processes and admission information, student issues and advising, enrollment, grade submissions, add/drop and recruitment.
	Mary Paterson Administrative Officer Mary Paterson is responsible for instructors' payroll related questions. I look forward to hearing from you with any questions you might have.
	Chris Thompson Program Manager Chris Thompson is responsible for the overall management of our post degree diploma and certificate programs. This includes programming, hiring instructors and budgeting.
	Ingrid Timusk Information Specialist Ingrid is the another one of the smiling faces behind our front desk. 	Heather Wakely Placement Coordinator Heather helps students to achieve internships in their target industry by coaching them on effective career strategies and developing strong relationships with employers in the local, regional and national community.
