Winter & Spring 2013 Course Calendar

Our Winter 2013 Course Calendar features several items that are significant to your quest for knowledge:

• Over 200 courses in professional development, post-degree diplomas and personal interest;
• 22 fully online courses in Business, Project Management, Marketing, Adult Education, Conflict Management and Writing;
• Two online post-degree diplomas in Pedorthics and Clinical Trials; and
• An online Fast-track Professional Certificate in Project Management.

To provide options for learners who live outside of our region with the Western experience in lifelong learning, our plans to expand online delivery are building momentum. Last year we increased our online courses by 31% and our registrations grew by 85%, a clear sign of adult learners’ interest in online learning at Western. This year we hired an Online Development Coordinator to meet the demand for online programming at a faster pace. Our goal is to add more than 100 online courses by September 2013.

To support our growth, we have selected a new registration system to ensure excellence in the customer experience. As the leading registration software in lifelong learning, Destiny One offers an array of options in serving adult learners, including corporate training and scholarships.
