To be awarded the Professional Certificate in Leadership, participants must complete seven courses and attend 80% of instructional hours in each course:

2. Enacting Theories of Leadership: Creating Action from Theory - Winter or Spring
3. Strategic Leadership - Winter or Spring

This first level of leadership development consists of seven courses designed to present fundamental knowledge that will help new and experienced leaders understand their role and the potential they have to positively influence others. There are three required courses and participants have the opportunity to select an additional four elective courses that meet their individual learning needs.
