DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY

The Department of Chemistry invites applications for a probationary (tenure-track) faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in Inorganic Chemistry with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2007. Candidates with an innovative research proposal in bioinorganic chemistry are especially encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be expected to establish an independent, externally funded research program, and to develop and teach innovative courses in chemistry at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The Department of Chemistry (www.uwo.ca/chem) is a large research intensive department with strong programs in many areas of chemistry and with good interdisciplinary links to research groups in other departments in the Faculties of Science and Engineering and the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry.
