March 2012: Another freshly minted professor

Dr. Betty Galarreta, a former graduate student of the chemistry department at Western (2007-2011), obtained her PhD in August 2011 under the supervision of Prof. F.Lagugné-Labarthet. Recently, she has accepted an Assistant Professor position in the Department of Chemistry of The Pontifical Catholic University of Peru in Lima, a leading Peru Univerisity. She is presently a postdoctoral fellow at Boston University and will be starting her new position in July 2013. Well done Betty!
