Balls can be used to encourage fluidity and rhythm, help modify exercise and postures, and strengthen muscles. Bands have been shown to improve muscular strength and endurance which promotes functional independence. The goal of this workshop is to introduce fitness leaders to a variety of ways to enhance the strength, balance and flexibility components of their existing senior fitness programs with the use of inexpensive training equipment.
