BMI High School Tours 

The Brain and Mind Institute welcomes students to discover what's happening in cognitive neuroscience.  BMI Postdoctoral scholars and graduate students are available to help coordinate tours and activities for high school students from London and the surrounding area. Brain Bee - London, Ontario

Western Neuroscience graduate students, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry medical students and the Brain and Mind Institute invite high school students in London and surrounding area from grades 9 through 12 to compete in a one-day neuroscience outreach event at Western University in London, Ontario! This event is completely free for students. The London Brain Bee consists of a trivia competition, demonstrations of behavioural neuroscience experiments at the Brain and Mind Institute, mock patient diagnosis sessions and a neuroanatomy bell ringer featuring real human brain specimens!

Canadian Medical Hall of Fame "Discovery Days" - London, Ontario

The Canadian Medical Hall of Fame teams up with Canadian universities, hospitals and research centres to introduce Canada’s youth to the wide variety of career options in medicine and the health care field. This outreach program connects high school students to world-class health clinicians and scientists.

Take Our Kids to Work Day

Take Our Kids to WorkTM is an annual program in which Grade 9 (or equivalent) students are hosted by parents, friends, relatives and volunteers at workplaces across the country every November. Western University coordinates activities and tours onsite to  career development by helping students connect school, the world of work, and their own futures.
