Medical Biophysics Graduate Courses

(last updated April 4th, 2014)

Please note that this web page will be updated with the course offerings
for Fall Term 2014 by August 31st, 2014.

In the meantime, if you have any questions about 2014/2015 Medical Biophysics and/or CAMPEP graduate courses please contact Wendy Hough

It is the responsibility of EVERY Medical Biophysics graduate student, regardless of his/her length of time in the program, to read the information on this web page at the beginning of each term and to comply with any instructions that may pertain to them.  Failure to do so may result in negative information on an individual's transcript such as a 'F', 'INC' (Incomplete), or 'U' (Unsatisfactory). This may adversely affect a student's ability to complete his/her degree requirements.

An Overview of Graduate Courses Offered Through Medical Biophysics

For an overview of courses offered through the Medical Biophysics graduate program, see the Medical Biophysics and PhD Med Biop Clin MSc (CAMPEP Accredited) Graduate Course Catalogues. (A MS Excel spreadsheet will open in a new window. The catalogues were last updated on Sept. 13th, 2013).

There are 2 TABS associated with this spreadsheet:
  • TAB NO. 1 - Biophys* Graduate Courses Catalogue (Biophys is the abbreviation for Biophysics)
  • TAB NO. 2 - PhD Med Biop Clin MSc CAMPEP Accredited Course Catalogue

See the PhD Med Biop Clin MSc CAMPEP Accredited Course Syllabus Synopsis for an overview of the information listed in TAB NO. 2.

A Note to PhD Med Biop Clin MSc Students: If you require academic counselling in order to complete the mandatory requirements for your program, please contact the co-ordinator, Dr. Jerry Battista (Jerry.Battista@schulich.uwo.ca).

In Regards to the Compulsory Basic Anatomy and Physiology Courses: Please discuss your undergraduate choices for these courses with Dr. Battista before you register in the course(s).

Medical Biophysics Graduate Courses Offered for Credit in Winter Term 2014

The following courses listed in the chart below will be offered during Winter Term 2014.

First official day of classes in Winter Term 2014 is January 6th.

Five Important Points To Remember:

1. Graduate on-line self enrollment through the Student Center will be available as of December 4th, 2013.

2. Deadline to register on-line for a Medical Biophysics graduate course through your Student Centre is January 17th, 2014.

3. How Do I Find Medical Biophysics Graduate Courses On-Line? When students login into their Student Centre to enroll in their Medical Biophysics graduate courses, they should search for BIOPHYSICS or BIOPHYS courses in the ON-LINE course catalogues.

4. Students are restricted to the courses within their graduate programs for on-line self enrollment.

5. If a student is required to take a graduate course outside his/her program for credit, s/he must send an e-mail to the Graduate Program Assistant stating (a) name, (b) student number (c) the full name of the course and number, and (d) intent to enroll in the course for credit. The Graduate Program Assistant will enroll that student in the requested course.
