In an era where populations are declining at precipitous rates leading to an “extinction crisis”, the role of population ecology has never been so critical and the need for population ecologists so urgent. This course combines the central tenets of population ecology with a strong emphasis on its practical application. You will learn about what population ecologists do and will learn many of the techniques needed in order to DO population ecology.
