Entry to UWO - Biology

To take Biology Major, Specialization or Honors Specialization modules at UWO you would apply to Faculty of Science in your application form.
What courses should I have taken at High School?
You would need to have completed six grade 12’U’ (or equivalent) courses with a minimum average to be determined by Western.

New for 2010 students must have completed 12U Biology.
What if I have Advanced Placement in one or more of these?
- AP Biology would allow you the equivalent of Biology 1001A and 1002B or 1201A and 1202B
- AP Chemistry would allow you the equivalent of Chemistry 1100A/B and 1200A/B
- AP Physics would allow you the equivalent of Physics 1301A/B and 1302 A/B
The credit will not be granted until the certificate is presented. UWO will allow a maximum of 2.0 AP credits
What if I have an International Baccalaureate in a course or have an out-of-province credit?
