Welcome to the Morbey Lab!

I am an evolutionary movement ecologist with an overarching research objective to understand how seasonal environments structure animal life histories and annual cycles, or more simply, their timing. In my lab, we think about theory and collect new data to better understand life history, migratory, and reproductive strategies in migratory songbirds and fish. Ultimately, the flux of individuals across space and time has tremendous importance for shaping patterns of biodiversity, species interactions, and ecological and evolutionary responses to climate change.
