Bio 2290F/G Teaching Equipment available for Research
An inventory of teaching laboratory equipment has been prepared for the information of researchers who may wish to use items when not in use. The equipment may only be used by members of the Biology Department. The inventory includes contact information for those responsible for the equipment. Researchers who wish to borrow equipment should ask the supervisor or the principal investigator in their laboratory to make the loan request. A loan agreement form is available which must be completed and given to the person from whom the equipment is borrowed. The supervisor or P.I. will assume responsibility for the condition and return of the equipment.
Obviously, some equipment is not portable so arrangements can be made to use it in situ. Other pieces of equipment, like balances, that may become unreliable when moved may also be used in situ.
