Canadian Botanical Conservation Network The CBCN's objective is to preserve the biological diversity of Canada's rare and endangered native plant species, wild habitats and ecosystems through the education and conservation programs of its member botanical gardens and arboreta (including the Sherwood Fox Arboretum). This site includes links to many Canadian Botanical Gardens.

American Association of Botanical Gardens and Arboreta (AABGA) has a searchable database of North American member institutions (including the Sherwood Fox Arboretum) and their special plant collections.

Royal Botanic Garden Kew London is London. Why not visit the other London?

Boyce Thompson Southwestern Arboretum A very different collection of plants can be found near Phoenix. Why not visit the desert in the middle of a Southwestern Ontario winter?

Arnold Arboretum Closer to home at Harvard University is a collection of 9,368 accessions. This site contains a searchable index for obtaining information on any plant in their collection. As an example, searching for Acer gives 163 matches ranging from Acer argutum (Pointed Leaf Maple) to Acer zoechense

Brooklyn Botanic Garden is not too far geographically or climatically from London, Ontario. In addition to information about their collection, this site includes a long list (and ordering information) of their publications.

Carolinian Canada "Carolinian Canada is a popular name for the extreme southwest region of  Ontario where the Eastern Deciduous Forest of North America has its northernmost limits. Many kinds of flora and fauna are found here but nowhere else in Canada!"
