DONOR PROGRAM
There is an ongoing Donor Program through which contributors make a gift to the University in the name of the Arboretum. The donor may choose the tree they wish to have planted or they can ask the Arboretum to suggest a suitable species. The tree will be planted with a plaque indicating the species of tree or shrub and the occasion that the tree is commemorating. Most trees have been planted in memory of someone's death and there really is no better way to provide a lasting, affordable memorial on the UWO campus. Other trees have been planted to commemorate a happy event or in recognition of someone's service or accomplishment.
