I am looking for a graduate student to study interactions between winter (frost stress) and summer (drought stress) responses in grasses and possibly other herbaceous species. Some experiments will be conducted under controlled conditions in incubators, but there will also be a substantial field research component conducted at a local field station. Applicants should have a strong academic record (78% and above). A start date of Jan. 2014 is preferred, but applications for a Sept. 2013 start date will also be considered. Domestic applicants will be fully-funded, but international applicants will require external funding support. To apply, please send a cover letter, cv and unofficial transcript to hhenry4@uwo.ca.
