The Faculty of Arts and Humanities has a variety of programs available for Undergraduate students. We have eight departments: Classical Studies, English, Film Studies, French Studies, Modern Languages and Literatures, Philosophy, Visual Arts, and Women’s Studies and Feminist Research. We also have programs in Linguistics and in Writing, Rhetoric and Professional Communication.
Within those departments there are a wide variety of courses that students may choose from. We offer several languages, including Spanish, Italian, German, Russian, Arabic, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Latin and Ancient Greek. There are also Certificates that students may complete along with their degrees. These include the Certificate in Ethics, the Certificate in Business French, the Certificate in Practical French, and the Certificate in Writing.
