The world is your stage! If you are passionate about drama, you may take take advantage of two courses offered jointly through our partnership with the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. Shakespeare in Performance (English 2042G) and Voice and Text in the Theatre (English 2043F/G), provide an intensive introduction to Shakespearean stagecraft with established authorities in the field, and Stratford’s world-renowned voice coaches. Visual Arts students in their fourth year of an honors program are eligible to put theory into practice through an internship in an arts-related field. Gain hands-on experience as a studio assistant or in the areas of artefact conservation, cultural archiving or commercial gallery sales. The Internship Coordinator interviews and works with interested qualified students to find a placement, and together with the workplace supervisor, to define a work project that benefits the workplace while developing the skills of the student.
