Student Central:
Student Central is the office to go to on campus to help with undergraduate student admission, international exchanges, student record collection, scholarships and financial assistance, tuition fee assessment, student photo identification, and many academic support services including exams, registration assistance, student information and enrolment analysis. Academic Resources

There are many tools available to help you become a successful student.

Libraries:
The place to begin your research. For access to their catalogue plus info on library locations, hours and services, Visit Site

Student Success Centre:
This centre offers skill-building workshops, career counselling, leadership, mentoring, volunteer and experiential learning opportunities and much more. Visit Site

Student Development Centre:
Home to a variety of service to help students in their academic and personal life, resources include writing support, learning skills services, psychological services and services for students with disabilities and more. Visit Site

Funding and scholarships

Faculty of Arts and Humanities Entrance Scholarship of Excellence
(Faculty of Arts and Humanities)

Awarded to full-time students entering the first year of the undergraduate program in Arts and Humanities. Students must have a minimum final admission average of 88% and be eligible for a University entrance scholarship (Western Scholarship of Distinction, Western Scholarship of Excellence or a Continuing Admission Scholarship). This scholarship will be a supplement to the University entrance scholarship. The Scholarship Committee of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities will select recipients of the award.  The number of scholarships will be determined annually by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. Value:  $500 each.

 Dean’s Entrance Scholarship (Faculty of Arts and Humanities)

Awarded to full-time students entering the first year of the undergraduate program in Arts and Humanities.  Students must have a final admission average between  84% and 87.9%.  The Scholarship Committee of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities will select recipients of the award.  The number of scholarships will be determined annually by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. Value: $1,000 each

Student Life

University Students' Council:
The student council are the official representation of the student body on campus. They serve to enhance the education experience and quality of life for undergrad students and are responsible for a variety of special events and services on campus. Visit Site

USC/LTC Bus Pass:

Student Health Services:
Health Services provides on-campus health care to Western students and staff, faculty and their families. Visit Site

Living on and off campus

Accommodations
There are many options when it comes to where you are going to live during your years at Western. For a complete list of options including on campus residence and off-campus housing, Visit Site

Campus Police:
Campus Police Service are involved in activities that include Patrols, Response, Crime Prevention, Emergency Management and Fire Safety. Special Constables have the Police Officer powers necessary to deal with most issues found on campus. Visit Site 

Parking:

Sports and Culture

Western Film:
Western Film has a Class A theatre license and is an independent, second-run (or move-over) movie theatre. They show all the latest releases, just a few weeks after they debut in first-run houses and at a student-friendly cost.Visit Site

Purple Bikes:
Promoting cycling at Western and offering bike rentals and workshops.Visit Site

Campus Media

CHRW Radio:
Tune into Western’s campus radio CHRW 94.9 FM or become a volunteer! Visit Site

Western News:
The award-winning weekly newspaper and electronic news service of The University of Western Ontario. Created in 1972, Western News provides timely news, information and a forum for discussion of postsecondary issues in the campus and broader community.Visit Site

The Gazette:
The only daily student newspaper in Canada, The Gazette is published four times every week, from Tuesday through Friday.Visit Site
