Welcome to London
Discover the Forest City
Founded at the forks of the Thames River in 1826, London has grown into an important urban centre. London Health Sciences and St. Joseph’s Hospital provide cutting edge research and treatment and it is the Canadian home of businesses such as Ellis-Don, Labatt’s, 3M, Trojan Technologies, and London Life Insurance. And of course, it is also home to Fanshawe College and The University of Western Ontario. The City of London manages to combine all this commercial and academic activity with opportunities to enjoy the city’s green spaces: walk, bike, skateboard, canoe, ski and skate in the parks, or on the extensive network of nature trails.
