Western Summer Shakespeare
University College Courtyard, Western University
A play about love, loss, transformation, and forgiveness, Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale is the story of a mistakenly jealous king who learns to see beyond his own selfish obsession. First performed in 1611 at the Globe Theatre in London, England, the play is one of Shakespeare’s late Romances (plays of fantastical metamorphoses, grief overcome, and joyful reconciliation).
Our production of what is essentially a very spring-like or summery Winter’s Tale will be performed in the delightful garden of the University College Courtyard on the beautiful campus at Western University this coming July.
Show dates: July 3rd to 7th, 2012 at 7:30pm
Tickets are $15 ($10 for students and seniors)
